Hello,

My name is Yolanda Holder aka "Walking Diva". Some of you may know me and for those of you who don't, I was Marathon Maniac of the Year 2008 & 2009. In 2008 I walked 65 marathons and In 2009 I walked 77 marathons. This year I'm taking on a new challenge. I plan on breaking the Guinness World Record. "Most Marathons Run in a Calendar Year by a Woman". The record is 100 and I plan on walking 101.
As of April 4th I have done 29 marathons & beyond. This weekend I am taking on a huge challenge. I'm walking three events that total to 107 miles!!!
Labor of Love Marathon, 50 miler & 50K. I have 32 hours to finish all three event. Prayers and Good Luck wishes are
truly welcome.
Keep Believing in Yourself and Your Dreams.
Yolanda "Walking Diva"

  1. Way to go, Yolanda. Almost a third of the year done, and over a third of the way to that magic number. I'm jealous of all those marathons you get to do - while in awe that your able to do them. Remember, I want to be there on 12/31/10, just like 12/31/09, to share some miles with you, and see the moon set, and the sun rise on a new world record! Keep it up, my friend. See you on the road/trail.

  2. It was so nice meeting you at the Diablo 50k! I am so proud of you for finishing. I got about half way up the summit and was feeling very hot and sweaty, and to be honest a little light headed, so I decided to turn around, and do the 8K instead. Sometimes it is difficult to listen to your body, but for me it was the absolute right decision. It was definitely aan 8K day for me :) I look forward to seeing you out there, are you going to do the Skyline 50k August 1st at Lake Chabot...if so maybe I will see you. I am going to keep following you...you are amazing..happy trails :)

  3. Yolanda,

This is #67 from the Dick Collins event. My name is Jonathan and not Mark. This was my first 50 mile Trail marathon, but my second 50 miler (the prior one was on asphalt 2 years ago).
Thankyou for including me in your photo album
but I'd appreciate the name change atleast.
(note: I have now seen you at 4 events this year).

    Best to you Yolanda,
    Jonathan A.
