Wine Country Marathon - Marathon #86

Wine Country Marathon was held in Healdsburg California in the beautiful Sonoma County wine country. We started in historical downtown Healdsburg and ran through residential area of old homes and quaint streets. We past many vineyards and dozens of wineries. The course had rolling roads with breathtaking views of Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. I finished 5:57:24

Roxana is a 50 stater and Marathon Maniac. Roxana is on her second round of the states. Ted and I saw each other last month at the Lake Tahoe Triple. Ted did the 72 miler.

It was a beautiful day in Sonoma County. It was over 90 degrees and I was feeling really good. No heat problems or stomach issues...Thank you Jesus!

This is Mary and her first marathon! Yippee!!! You can do this Mary!

It's Halloween in Healdsburg!

THE PATH TO A DREAM

The path to a dream is paved with sacrifices and lined with determination. and though it has many stumbling blocks along the way and may go in more than one direction, it is marked with faith. It is traveled by belief and courage, persistence and hard work. It is conquered with a willingness to face challenges and take chances, to fail and try again and again. Along the way, you may have to confront doubts, setbacks, and unfairness. But when the path comes to an end, you will find that there is no greater joy than making your dream come true.

  2. Congratulations Yolanda! See good to see you at there again, after Tahoe. This year's Healdsburg Marathon was so beautiful. It was such an amazing day that I'd place it easily in one of the top 10 most beautiful marathons in the world.
